Meet & Explore — Account & Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your Meet & Explore account and all associated personal data at any time. There are two ways to do this.

1. Delete from within the app

This is the fastest method and takes effect immediately.

Open the Meet & Explore app and sign in
Tap your profile picture to go to your profile
Tap Settings (gear icon, top right)
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
Confirm the deletion in the prompt that appears

After confirming, a 30-day cancellation window begins. You will be signed out immediately. If you sign back in within 30 days, your account will be restored. After 30 days the deletion becomes permanent and cannot be undone.

2. Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, send an email to:

support@meetandexplore.com

Please include the email address associated with your account in your message so we can locate it. We will process your request within 7 days and confirm by email.

What data is deleted

When your account is permanently deleted, the following data is removed:

Your profile — name, bio, profile photo, location, work, education
Your interests and language preferences
Your push notification tokens
Your authentication credentials

Content that forms part of shared group or event history (such as chat messages) is anonymised rather than deleted, so that the experience of other participants is not disrupted.

30-day window: Once you request deletion, you have 30 days to change your mind. Simply sign back in to cancel the deletion. After 30 days, deletion is permanent and irreversible.
